The oil pump in the SC is about the same thing as my B the base plate is pewter and over time it will warp and then the gasket leaks so it can not pump. I have not had my B all that long and I thought the oil pressure was ok but after running it more found it was not. I just sanded the plate smooth, but have not got it back to gether yet.
