Update--HELP quick--400 REALLY stuck in gear

Farmall 400 stuck in gear update I was able to get the three rails to line up but all three are still forward of what I believe is the neutral position. Is it possible to be stuck in 3 gears at the same time? Moving the rails takes tremendous effort, even after lifting one wheel off the ground (the tractor is setting pretty level). I cannot seem to get good advantage to pry. Maybe I am doing something wrong. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated! Has started raining here (again!!) so the field has turned to muck. Will now need to wait until everything dries out.
