Set that float RIGHT.Unless you did anything other than remove it,like bend the tang or drop it or something,that should be ok.Screw adjustn=ments are pretty much feel and smoke.Adjsut til it feels right and dont smoke!Thers technical specs on it,but hey after 53 yrs something has got ot be different if only slightly.
