That's mostly what I thought, but you never know when someone might have an idea. I have the lever back against the stop, but it moves only about a half inch back, but just flops all the way forward -- has spring tension when I pull it back, but I think I have the lever under the slot, not in it. When I bought the tractor, I did not have anything to hook to the hydraulics, should have pulled a cylinder off another tractor, so I don't know what the hyd are supposed to "feel" like. Tractor is totally stripped of everything in preparation for painting, so I can't test it with the tractor running.
