Joe, The first thing to do is to adjust the throttle linkage on the arm on the side of the injector pump. There is a procedure in the manual for doing it to get the correct rpm. There is also an adjustment on the main throttle linkage. If you make adjustments to the linkage you need to make sure you can still move the throttle lever far enough to shut off the engine in the other end of the travel. If that doesn't do it then it is inside the injector pump and I have not had any experience with that. Roger
