The M has more than 40 hp.

A few days ago I had the M dynoed out and only hit 40. I have my doubts about the guy doing it. Anyways today I had my chance to see what it can do. Pulled a rear unload 16ft box full of 70%moisture haylage. Had some hills nothing steep but not a bad slope and had rpm's to spare. The boss and others wanted to see it and now they did. When I hauled a load to neighbors who's buying some hay said how much power are getting out of that. I said 40. BS!! he said no way. It don't pay to call the dealer because it is done and paid for. I got a nice tight wide front, 3 sets of weights on the rear, dry air filter, elec. ign. tubular steel manifolds. Stock carb. I got new bands so stopping is very good. I told the boss I'll have to try the 20 ft wagon. He also suggested taking the M and his 684 to the county fair's tractor pull and see who has the best. I said I got more weight than you and do I smell a challenge!! Anytime!
