My 47 M has 264 cubic inches and high compression pistons. The head has be milled to increase compression ratio to about 7:1. The manifold has been matched to the ports and I am using a slightly bigger carb. The M puts out about 55 horsepower at 1600 RPM. The tractor is a farm tractor only on my ranch. The rear ends and drive train will not like over 60 HP for an extended time. The old M's are good old reliable tractors. Ray
