Hey thanks for the help everyone. The battery cables on my tractor look to be in good shape, no corrosion, either end, soldered on ends, looks like 2 gauge wire, actually look fairly new. Unless there is a lot of wire broken under the insulation, I think they are ok. I'm going to work on it tomorrow. Had to work all weekend.(the real job of course) I think that I'll try taking it off and checking things out on the starter. I'll let y'all know what I find.
