First thing to do is to get the wiring back in order. Punch below for a wiring diagram that will work for your Super C. If the wiring is at all questionable (worn, frayed or burned insulation, sloppy splices, etc) replace it! Either purchase a new wiring harness, or you can rewire it yourself - wiring is simple and straightforward for your tractor. If you are lucky the generator will work once you get the wiring properly connected. However if it does not, here's the URL to a troubleshooting chart that can help you isolate the cause: http://albums.photo.epson.com/j/ViewPhoto?u=4001561&a=30065733&p=63426275&f=0 If it turns out the generator is bad, any good alternator shop can rebuild it for less than the cost of a new one. If the problem is simple (like worn brushes) it may be possible to repair the generator yourself for just a few $. Hope this helps!
