I Had to laugh, I just bought a 300 Farmall/McCormik/International today, put my first miles on it just tonight, The family I got it from, (Neighbors) run tractor pulls, every one of the kids are freaking tractor genius's, (theyre running smokers now, but started with M's, Super M's and 300's I just got mine today from the youngest, (18 now) Sat for 8 years at the last owners, It took me 1 hour to get it rolling, I drove it down to their place just to bullshit, Don, (their dad) told me.........If you ever have problems with it losing power when you load it? its the woodruff key for the cam, the live hydraulics wears it out, pretty soon it wont hold time under power. He said its happened to every one theyve had. Makes sense, you get enough lash in the cam gear that your timing is bouncing 10-15 degrees from idle to load, I take these guys word for Gospel, the youngest could tear down a gas or diesel at 12 years old, shave the head, put a hotter cam in and win pulls. Im in Hog Heaven here, just stepped up to a 300 today from a case Vac, LOL
