Super A Frontend Brass Pivot Bearings

Have any of you guys had any luck removing the two brass bearings in the center tube in the frontend? I had to bring them to work and bore them out. These bushings have helical grease grooves in them for grease on the pivot pin. What I found very interesting was that when I bored the bushing out to the steel tube, you could still see brass in the steel tube were the grease grove was. Almost like IH screwed or suaged these bushings into place. Have never seen that before. Also pivot pin was badly worn and slightly bent. scotty
