Because of my curiosity, I am the proud new owner of a rebuilt starter (I broke the bushings in mine when I removed it to see if I could clean it and decided to have it rebuilt rather than just repaired). But, as I told my wife, it was the best thing that could have happened. It needed to be rebuilt as everything was old and crackly inside - ever try that one? Question is: When I go to put it back on the tractor, are there any tricks or secrets that I need to know? Or can I just put it on and bolt it down? I didn't know if there was anything I needed to worry about with making sure the gears match up or if it wouldn't go in unless they were matched up. It is an M. Thanks for any help.
