A/B Clutch Adjustment and Spark Plug Gap

I put a new clutch disk and throw out bearing in my B,and I put everything back together correctly (as far as I know).
The problem I'm having is the throw out bearing isn't engaging the pressure plate until the foot pedal is almost pushed
all the way in/down. I had to move the pedal-to-"clutch rod" adjustment all the way back to the end of the clutch rod
to accomplish this, so there must be something wrong. Any suggestions?

Also, what is the correct spark plug gap (Autolite plugs)? Thank you.
