I am in southeastern Pennsylvania but the tractor is in Northeastern Maryland (about a half an hour from me). I don't know what he means by excellent. I talked to him on the phone last night and he told me he repainted it three years ago and put on the decals. He said it has good rubber and it runs good, no oil leaks other than the usual ones around the PTO shaft, etc. I am going to look at it tonight so I should know more. Are there simple ways to determine how well the engine runs other than listening to it and operating it. I am familiar with gas engine diagnosis' (i.e. compression tests, visual inspection of plugs, smoking, sounds, etc) but I'm not too familiar with diesels. Thanks, Phil
