Look what I found in the '41 H tranny...

OK, I'm sure some of you old farmers have better stories to tell than me, but in the total "bolt-off" restoration of my '41 H, I found this 2" treasure swimming at the bottom of the transmission chassis. I don't know what it is. Perhaps you could help identify it. It has a bevel edge in the center. Washed the chassis out with a gallon of mineral spirits, and this, along with about 4 ounces of miscellaneous metal fragments showed up. Sort of explains why the previous owner stated that "there was problems getting it into gear" and "the rear end had a noise, but not to worry."
