There is a conversion which can be done to raise the front end about 3". It does involve adding a 3" section to the lower part of the steering shaft and slipping a 3" spacer over the shaft. This raises the front end up and the lower bolster bearing rests on the top of the spacer. I have a Regular with this conversion, and have seen many others done like it. I have a friend who did it recently with great sucess. It was done when the steels were replaced by rubber. I don't know if it was a 'Dealer' item, or just any garage was doing it. I did not find any mention of it in the parts books and have no idea what happened when IHC sold a tractor with rubber from the factory. You can do the conversion, but it will modify the tractor. Have you considered sticking with steels? JG
