I am buying a 1949 super a, the suspension for the seat is like an M. It has plates mounted to the axle housings like the super a with the hinged seat. There is a tube about 1 1/2in. to 2in. in diameter that runs between the plates. The spring that looks line an M seat spring is mounted to this tube. There are two L shaped brackets[one left, and one right]mounted to the floor board. There is a tube that is welded perpendicular to the tube that the spring is sitting on and hinges between the two brackets just mentioned, it even has the shock absorber. I am buying this tractor from a person that has been working on tractors for many years, I mentined that I had never seen this before and he showed me another tractor that had been parted out with this arrangement. Sorry for the long winded question, but am I missing somthing here. Thanks for any help.
