Marvin- great idea for a thread!, 'The Red' informed the Oliver Board that we should get on over here and read this--- I'd imagine you get some Oliver guys responses too...
I'm a CPA that works for the government (you tall tales guys had better quit laugh'n!). My dad (age 72) and I got into the old tractor hobby a few years ago. We have
a '50 M Farmall, w/ a wide front,Live hydraulics, and a three point hitch; a 53 AC WD-45 w/WF; and an Oliver 1855 w/cab (a true monster). They are all in the queue for restore/repaint. Unfortunately, I have a few other (my labor required) projects ahead of them. I have about 29 acres. BTW the old tractor hobby is worse than an addiction-- sometimes!
