Neat website! One of these days I am going to have to stop long enough to make one myself. Where did you fly the white darts? I bet I talked to you either from the Barksdale Rapcon (Shreveport Approach) or from San Antonio Tracon. I was a controller (FAA) at the Rapcon around 1970-73 and 74 or 75 in San Antonio. Worked a lot of T38's, loved them, they would do everything you asked except slow down. I remember one of our controllers tried to reduce one to 150 in the pattern after the t38 had just taken off with a full load of fuel and wanted one touch and go before leaving, boy did he scream at that controller!!! He says something like, "Approach, if I reduce to 150 I'll fall out of the sky"! He was screaming, the controller spent the rest of the way around the pattern saying he was sorry.
