I assume you are talking about the one that goes to the bolt where power goes into the starter? have done it but not a pretty picture. Heed a soldering iron or something to put heat on a large area. I changed mine from the old lever push button top of the starter to a regular bolt with a solenoid and push button start. I think I may have resorted to using a oxy/acetelyne torch with small tip and heating sparingly
