James: I think there must be a lot of worn out 12' disks across America. Every time this subject comes up there are always a few people who can pull a 12' disk with an M. A good cutting disk with 18" or 20" disk blades, 1-1/4 arbor bolts, 4-5" diameter solid steel spacers between disks. That will require 1 to 1-1/4 horse power per disk blade. Once the concave is worn off the disks they will not require much hp, nor will they be very effective. In fact I have seen people trying to use a worn out disk, and a land roller or packer would have been more effective.
