That would work. What are these wheels going onto? If it is a piece of farm equipment that would be ok. If they are going on a trailer or anything else that will be rotating at high rpm's going down the road then this wouldn't be such a great idea. You would have to get the tires, rims, and adapters all balanced together. Your local junk yard should be able to get you a set of rims that will fit your tires or get a set of tires that fit your rims.
