Ive got my govenor all apart on my super A and noticed the same thing. Im thinking of boring the housing out and install a bushing. The shaft is also worn, and I think that it is pressed into the lever and spotwelded. Im going to try and replace the shaft also. When you have it apart you may as well replace the seal or felt bushing also. Let me know how you make out.
