Mc Cormick 400

I;m a JDman by nature, but I ran across a tractor yesterday setting along the road for sale, and I just gotta ask a question about it. It was obviously an International Harvester Product, but all it said on the sheet metal was McCormick, and 400. It looked alittle bigger than an M, had somewhat rusty, but very strait sheet metal. great 14.9 x 38 rears, and new like front tires on it's tricycle front. It had no fenders or three point, but it did have hydrolic remotes, independent PTO, Power steering. Ran good, although it had a gas motor that looked alittle dirty. the only thing the owner is reporting wrong is a short in the electrical system. He had the Positive unhooked prior to starting. What is this tractor worth, how much does it weigh, and what is it's horse power. The man is asking 1500. to me it seems reasonable. Even though I did feel out of place looking at it painted red and all It seemed to be a sound machine. Help me if you can. Thanks Greg H.
