I have a neighbor how bought a Harley from New Zealand. I asked him why he bought an American bike from another country when they are kicking around everywhere. What he told me was that it was cheaper to buy it and ship it than to pay the local price. Plus this has different factory options that were not available in the usa. In the end is guess it comes down to he's happy. The thing about your post is your buyer isn't asking many questions, that bothers me. Why couldn't you take the check and hold the tractor for a month until it clears? If the buyer doesn't like it tell them to pound sand.
