Dad had a 300U that he had the same problem with chopping corn with an IH 15 harvester, 1st was to slow, 2nd to fast, but 2nd TA was just right. He did custom corn harvesting and he would run that 300U in 2nd TA for the 2 months in the fall. Had it for 4 years and never had any TA or clutch problems, just had to use the brakes on a down hill. The only problem was the small gas tank, had to fill it about 3 times a day. JB
