Darren: The limit on you fast hitch on the SA will be in the 400 to 700 lb. range. The closer you can get the weight to tractor the better. I have an S tine cultivator that I fabricated 6' wide and 3 rows of tines which take it back 4.5' behind tractor. Tractor has no problem lifting it, however ocasionally I like to put items on top of it just for moving purposes. If the item is much over 50 lbs I have to place it up close to tractor. The cultivator itself probably weighs 400-500 lbs. On the other end I have a sprayer probably 750 lbs full of material. The load with the sprayer is set very close to tractor. Sometimes when lifting sprayer I have to reach back and give a tug with my arm. When I am spraying I have two check chains from cross bar of hitch to rockshaft between fenders. I don't like spraying with all that weight on hydraulics.
