You will find out that a late model 706 with either the 291 gasser or the 310 german or like one said a 806is far better , as we have in the circel that i farm in a that running the same baler with differnt tractor as we have the bale vary from tractor to tractor as we did have one 706 with the 263 gas and one with a 291 gas and the 291 made better bales then i got the 806 and with the added hp it did a lot better and held better on our hilly ground. then we or i should say that Eugene got the 1066 and that is the tractor we use now on the baler.
