Used to bale with a NH 850 round baler and IH 806. It was a great combo however, I must say I would argee with Hugh (on using the 300) that baler didnt seem to need much in the way of HP. I would be game to give the 300 a try esp. if on flat or gentle rolling ground. You might want to look for a wide front tractor if trying to add to your collection and the 656,706,756, 806 are all good older tractors and as with anything just check em out.
