Kelly: You may have been farting around but do remember your grand dad's formula though. My dad bought land in 1938 for $1.00 per acre. Now the experts say that can't happen again, governments won't let it happen. As I see it here in Canada anyway, if politicians keep buying our votes with our money, what happens when the tax rate gets to 115% of our gross earnings. Something will have to give. The very best advise one could give today is keep yourself financially healthy. Opertunities like your grand dad's or my dad's are what make fortunes. I have been waiting close to 15 years for it to happen, just wish the government would stop proping it up. I know a couple of guys who lived through the thirties and took advantage of the times. They are just hopeing they live long enough for another kick at the can.
