Steve - Far as I'm aware the generators are identical between the H and the B/BN except for the drive pulleys, and the pulleys should swap. Also it doesn't matter whether the BN is equipped with a cutout or regulator - the generator will work fine on either system.

Note to rustyfarmall: The later (voltage regulator-equipped) lettered series Farmalls continued to utilize 3 brush generators. The only difference is the 3rd brush on the some of the later units was fixed - i.e. there was no adjustment provision for the 3rd brush.
