Help! 450 Hydraulics Problem

This evening I took the 450 for another spin. I've had this tractor for about 2 weeks and am still getting familiar with it. For some reason, I don't know why, I pulled the inside, (left hand) hydraulic lever back. The tractor started laboring, like it was pumping hydraulics as hard as it could. Couldn't make it stop, no matter which way I moved the lever. I have been debating trying to repair my hyd. pump or replace it, since it's leaking from the back. It pretty much decided that for me as fluid began to POUR!! out the tach. connection. If you kept moving the rear hitch up and down, that took the system off high pressure enough that it didn't labor.

NOW WHAT?? I assume something is hung open or shut inside. How can I un-stick it??
