My C has an L on almost every casting, upside down and otherwise, it was a white demo also, but the L means Lousiville. Don't remember when the plant was built, but it was either built or remodeled for smaller tractors. Others were built there also, such as the Louisville M. Perhaps Guy Fay will respond to this post.
