Duh! never thought about the light switch having to be on. good point. I may try to rig up something with maybe a flat 4 way trailer plug to a trickle charger in conjunction with my block heater (since its going to be plugged in anyway) then I won't have to open the cowls and everything will be toasty for winter. G
