I do not have a 450, but I have a 300 row crop which is similar. I have been chasing leaks too in that same area. If you already have the dash and cowel off, the rest of the work is pretty easy. Just remove the control rod assembly, and then remove the four large nuts on the right side of the valve bank and slide each valve assy off. O-rings are used in between the valve assys. Other areas check for leaks would be: 1. the rear output lines. 2. the supply lines to the reservoir-o-ring ports. 3. oil pressure gage line- mine was leaking. Hope you have better luck than me, these hydraulic leaks are driving me crazy. I am about ready to replace all the steel lines with new custom built ones this winter.. at least the engine doesn't leak oil.. Is there a dye I could add to the hydrualic oil to find the pin hole leaks in the steel lines?
