MAG... Are 2 leads actually not firing or do you have 2 cylinders not firing due to the wires not being in the correct firing order? I suppose it is not impossible for a new cap to be defective? Check your point gap, and check cam that operates points to be sure you have all lobes there and in good condition. Did you time the little gears that turn the rotor shaft? STARTER... The original bolt is copper with kind of a wedge shaped head on it the is installed from the outside of the starter, with the nut on the inside. Then the copper field connections are soldered to the threaded end of the bolt. You could try putting a brass nut on the stud you have, and filing it at a bit of an angle to mesh with the starter switch you have.
