I can add a bit of input here; my Super A serial number is 336977 and the engine serial number is 338597. I also know this is the original engine. Your Super A will have the older type block so serial number 272992 could be exactly same or very close. That would make your tractor a 1949. What do the casting codes on engine block, torque tube, transmission case, etc tell you. Casting codes are those numbers that give day and month by number and year by letter, and it looks like it has the head of a screw cast in between each set of digets. What type of tyrods and control arms does your tractor have? automotive or older type with the S shaped control arm with ball on end.
