I think you are safe to call it a 1949, particularly if there are some S (1949) casting codes on it. It is unlikely that the engine serial exactly matches the chassis serial, as Guy Fay usually says if they match. The A and B chassis and engine serials matched thru 201000, the chassis serial then went to 220829. There was a 1703 chassis number skip between the Chicago and Louisville production in 1947. The last 20000+ A's and B's were built in Louisville. Guy does not say that the Super A's matched. His number is probably off about the same as yours is. I'll try to remember to check the engine serial on my Super A.
