Rust-Oleum revisited....

hi all,
I've already dug through old forum postings and found some discussion on the rust-oleum IHC red "rattle can"... but opinions seem divided. What I'm wondering is, is the "new" rust-oleum rattle can stuff any good? I just picked up 2 cans of rust-oleum implement paint at the farm store and figured I could at least use it to paint the smaller parts of the tractor. The cans say "IHC Red" right on them. Does this newer stuff fade? I mean, do you think rust-oleum has improved their stuff? Does it need primer? I was going to do my '49 Cub grill- I blasted it down to bare metal with a grit blaster. -Chris
