you can take an old tube and cut it to make a boot like they used on the old tube type tires on automobiles. it will help to protect the new tube. if you have a problem area, you can put a patch in that area and it will give you even more protection from punchering your new tube. clean up the rim with a wire brush on a grinder or file and weld it up as everyone else has suggested and put it back together. it should get you by. then you can keep looking for one at a farm sale.
