Redfan, Most of the WR tractors were sold on rubber,(except during the war), but the ones on steel in the Delta and Louisiana usually had wheel extensions which made the 34" x 6" front wheels 34" x about 9" (I'm not sure of the width of the front rear extensions) and the rear wheels 54" x 18". This gave a third row of the big 6" spade lugs. They were also equipped with scrapers. They were really something to see with these big spade lug wheels, 54" wheel + 6" lugs gave 66" overall wheel height or diameter on solid surface. (The rear steel on the regular W-9 was only 56" overall diameter, 48" wheel + 4" lugs gave 56" overall diameter). The front wheels had I believe a 3" or 4" guide ring which made them 40" or 42" overall diameter. I hope somebody has saved one with these tractors with big steel wheels somewhere. Harold H
