Yes, there should be an air intake cover (the louvered piece), a screen, and then a sheetmetal piece that kind of looks like a dustpan. There should also be a collar that fits between the neck of the air cleaner tube and that dustpan-looking sheetmetal piece. Mine is made of foam rubber, maybe original, maybe not. The picture in the operator's manual looks like it should be a piece of rubber (radiator) hose.
