An alternative is to go buy an aftermarket 2way open center valve, mount it to the side of the battery box below your seat so the handle is convienient to your hand. Take any one of the 3 ports you mentioned to the valve, with the return going to a tee on the filler neck. Then run the two work ports on the new valve to your cylinder(s). To operate it just tie the short control rod in the full on position (so it is supplying hyd feed all the time.
While you're going to the trouble get a two spool valve instead of single and you will have an extra valve for a set of remotes.
