Just started to work on a Super A (1949) I just got. Pulled the radiator, upper and lower hoses and housings. You would not believe what was in the lower part of the water jacket!!! Hand fulls of rust and globs of stuff I could not tell the makeup of. If you want to keep the tractor, pull the hoses at least and do a good flush, from the top. I will flush mine and run some rust remover thru it, I think. Good luck. UG!
