3pt makes the H a much more versatile tractor. Some types will let you end up with a fixed hitch, or drawbar instead of just a piece with holes between the lift arms. The ones with the fixed hitch are generally preferable. You can find arrangements that use 1 cylinder, or two; if your lift is in good shape, 1 cylinder may give you all the power you need for hanging weight on the back of an H. You hydraulic system is single acting - therefore it will extend the cylinders, or retract them, but not both. 2-way action with this system requires lots of extra plumbing. If you hang a lot of weight on the 3pt, you may need an adjustable flow-control valve in the line to allow free lift, but restricted drop. Otherwise... things will drop in a big hurry! These are not expensive, and can be obtained from about any hydrualics supply place.
