Hey Dan - you're in good company on that one! I only remember the lever must be latched back when the remote cylinder I mine would not work as I was hooking a plow a couple weeks ago. After a couple frantic moments I figured out the Liftall lever (which has no pull rod attached) had gotten kicked into it's center position by someone's big foot. Latching it back got the remote working again.
