Jonathan,I used a block sealer on my F12,I think it was k&d or something like that,It was the metalic type sealer,and it worked perfect.The way I under stand you must follow directions.Flush all antifreeze out of motor,mix sealer with hot spigot water, run for at least one hour at a steady speed,do not rev up,several hours would be better,turn motor off,let cool,drain water out of motor,let sit empty for atleast 24 hours or longer,than refill with coolant.
