I have a couple queries regarding a 1932 International McCormick Deering 22-36 tractor. Does anyone know the correct torque setting for the head studs, 9/16" diameter? Also need the valve clearances (cold)? Any replies or assistance would be very much appreciated? The engine on this tractor was badly siezed, and required a lot of work to get free. Would it be recommended to drop the pistons out and check the rings are free, before reassembly. $250- for a new head gasket is a lot to pay, and I don't want to risk destroying it if the rings aren't free! Rust was minimal in bores. Has anyone had similar experience in getting a tractor similar to this running again. This one last ran approx 10 "farmer" years ago...
