Hi MIKE....Yes, H's & M's had the holes towards the center for the support rod bracket to bolt on but I don't remember anything from the picker mounting to them. Dad had an M&W Super Snoot He put on the M when the picker was mounted and I don't think it even had the holes on the front center, Just the 4 grill mounting holes, 2 on each side. Guess Who's job it was to mount the Super Snoot? ;-) Clymer's book, 150 Years of IHC showed front mounted middlebusters using them as well. You were kinda limited on what You could mount to them since I think they're only 3/8" bolts. There were two styles of brackets available, a welded-up bracket that bolted on with spacers outside the grill and another bracket that bolted on behind the grill of a SM, SM-TA, 400/450 with eyebolts threaded into it for the rods on the cultivator. Dad had the external bracket and used it even on the SM-TA & 450 which could have used the internal bracket.
