Sounds like you are on the right track. I assume you have checked for spark? (I apolgize if you said this in a previous message). Either use a timing light if you are fortunate to have one or just pull a plug wire off, hook it to a spare plug, and ground it to the frame and have someone watch while cranking it over. Has your timing jumped at all? (I have had that happen on older vehicles while they are running and then they just quit). Other than that, check your on/off switch, which you said you will do next anyway. This sounds like a good one. Good luck.
